Summary
The Associate Director of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a marketing strategy that connects with a global community. At Omega, we see marketing is an important part of bringing our mission rooted in healing, growth, and transformation to the world. We're looking for a thoughtful and strategic marketing leader to help shape and expand our presence while staying true to our values. The person in this role will guide and support a collaborative marketing team planning and delivering marketing efforts that speak to the depth and diversity of Omega's on campus and online participants, donors and members.
This is a hands-on role focused on execution while contributing to the strategic direction of the marketing department. You'll bring campaigns to life across email, search, web, and social platforms. You'll work closely with cross-departmental partners in programming, development, operations, and online learning to ensure that our messaging is aligned, inclusive, and impactful.
The ideal candidate is a marketer who sees data as a tool for deepening relationships, not just driving transactions; and, thrives when strengthening marketing systems and aligning people and processes.

Leadership & Strategic Communication
- Lead and mentor a small but mighty marketing team, offering clear direction and growth opportunities
- Improve marketing processes, clarify goals, and strengthen cross-team collaboration
- Make strategic budget recommendations and advocate for necessary team resources Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns aligned with Omega's mission
- Develop and support audience acquisition strategies to expand reach and deepen engagement
- Monitor key performance metrics and apply analytics and A/B testing to refine campaigns
- Partner with IT and operations to strengthen the organization's capacity for data-informed decisions Collaboration & Research
- Collaborate with programming, development, participant experience, and online learning teams on integrated campaigns
- Conduct or coordinate participant and donor research to surface insights that shape marketing strategy Budget & Vendor Partnerships
- Help manage the marketing budget with an eye toward strategic impact and cost-effectiveness
- Build relationships with select consultants and vendors and support evaluating new and existing external partnerships and providers
Supervisory Responsibility Manage marketing staff directly
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Work Details This position functions in Omega's administrative offices on the Omega campus.
Physical demands:
Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Ability to traverse a hilly campus in diverse weather conditions.
Ability to position self to perform diverse job tasks as necessary.
Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand, and ability to exchange accurate information in these situations.
This is a full-time position.
The typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This schedule may vary when special needs and projects arise.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Mission-driven marketer with seven or more years' experience in marketing and at least two years in strategic leadership
Bring empathy, insight, and intention to your work, with three or more years managing collaborative teams
Led successful campaigns across SEM, SEO, PPC, and email and can translate data into actionable improvements in marketing performance
Ability to cultivate community and engagement through thoughtful, aligned messaging
Experience with marketing automation, analytics, and CRM platforms
Possess an awareness of both what gets said and how it lands-with a strong sense of voice, timing, and purpose
Experience working in (or feel deeply aligned with) nonprofit, educational, or mission-driven settings
Excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Raiser's Edge
Ability to think strategically and articulate Omega's vision and program content to a variety of constituencies
Team player
Alignment with Omega's mission, goals, aspirations, and core values
Understanding of the content of Omega's workshops
Awareness of trends in the holistic education
