Facilities Manager - Vancouver, WA
The Facilities Manager Manager will lead the plant Facilities and Utilities operations, guaranteeing the reliability of services across the building and the manufacturing processes within, and delivering key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale.
Compensation : $135,000 - $145,000 Base Salary + 14% bonus. Benefits start day 1, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 401k match up to 9%, 20 days PTO. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates moving.
Overview :
Effectively manage the facilities & utilities budget, partnering with Maintenance Manager, Sections Managers, and 3rd party providers.
Provide support, expertise, and guidance to your team, the rest of the Maintenance department, and the Engineering team.
Manage portfolio, relationship, and work execution of 3rd party providers according to world class standards.
Implement world-class manufacturing and maintenance practices.
Deliver year-over-year operational savings. Implement practices and governance to drive continuous improvement and zero-loss mentality.
Develop self-sufficient teams and a high-performance organization. Effectively manage the talent, capabilities, and engagement of the team. Implement levers to attract, retain and develop talent.
Be a champion and role model of servant leadership.
Qualifications :
Minimum 7 years of experience in a maintenance role, with at least 5 years of experience in utilities management (HVAC, water/sewer systems, gas systems, pumps, boilers, electrical systems, compressors, instrumentation, infrastructure, safety requirements/regulations, etc), including maintenance management software, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
5 years of maintenance leadership. Success record in developing maintenance systems and portfolio of 3rd party providers.
Success record developing teams and talent, as well as developing a continuous improvement culture.
Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Solid finance acumen.
Strong customer service mindset.
Highly motivated and self-directed, with strong influencing and leadership skills.
