PACS AdministratorA leading healthcare organization is seeking a PACS Administrator to oversee enterprise-wide imaging systems for radiology and cardiology. You'll play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and optimizing system performance while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.This is a full-time, on-site role in Alexandria, VA, ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in imaging systems, HL7, DICOM, and clinical workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support PACS and imaging applications across departmentsEnsure integration with hospital IT systems and workflow continuityMonitor and maintain compliance with HIPAA and federal standardsCollaborate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth operationsTroubleshoot, optimize, and document system performance and configurationsLead or support relevant project implementationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, radiological procedures, or related field (or equivalent experience)HL7 Interface Creation/Maintenance training3+ years in imaging systems workflow support (required)5+ years of experience in healthcare imaging systems management (preferred)1+ year in DICOM and HL7 standardsExperience with project management and security protocols (preferred)Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital clinical environmentsEqual Opportunity StatementEqual Opportunity Employer MOGEL and our clients are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants.
