**Position Summary...** **What you'll do...** We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Walmart e Commerce Analytics team focused on Transactions, Identity, and Account product and business. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies to improve our e Commerce product offerings and customer experience. Associates in this role are expected to primarily work onsite at either our San Francisco, CA Bay Area Offices (San Bruno or Sunnyvale) or Bentonville, AR Home Office. The role involves partnering very closely with multiple Product, Engineers, Design, and Business Partners to elevate the site experience across verticals on Walmart. **What youll do...** + Partner with peer ecommerce analytics teams, product managers, business strategy, design, and engineering teams to accurately track and analyze existing and new product initiatives. + Use statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to analyze large and complex data sets to solve business problems and identify new opportunities + Drive experimentation for Walmart e Commerce products. Partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute trustworthy online controlled experiments at scale using modern statistical techniques then quantify the impact of new product feature as an ongoing discipline to constantly improve product features and provide better experiences for customers across all platforms (e.g., Desktop, Mobile, App). + Leverage extensive hands-on experience with SQL to query and process large amounts of clickstream, customer, and transaction data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, impact sizing to influence decision-making. + Define the customer engagement data capture strategy and collaborate with engineering to ensure the accuracy of the data captured + Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk to monitor product performance + Leverage advanced analytics solutions to identify product and business opportunities at scale using regression, clustering, classification, gradient boosting, etc. techniques. + Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, products, and business operations to inform data-driven decisions mentor and provide thought leadership to peers and partners **What youll bring...** + Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field + 3-5 years experience in analytics + 3+ years experience with SQL + 2+ years experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Looker, Power BI) + 2+ years leveraging Python or R in a business environment for analysis and modeling + Strong communications skills **Youll sweep us off our feet if you have** + 3+ years of experience working in mid-to-large scale analytics teams + Masters degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology or related field + Interest in growing into an analytics management role in the future + Experience creating and automating data pipelines + Related industry experience (for example: retail, merchandising, e Commerce, etc) **Benefits ; Perks:** Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance.
