The Senior Information Technology Engineer will provide technical support and management of ABB E-mobility's IT infrastructure including end-user computing environments, applications, collaboration platforms, and networks. They will diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, plan/implement new services, and partner with vendors to coordinate services and support to E-mobility's global workforce. Position Details This position is a virtual, remote-based Eastern U.S. Region opportunity, in the Eastern Time Zone. Charlotte, NC or Montreal, QC hybrid working strongly preferred. Responsibilities Provide Tier 3 / VIP support for Windows, MacOS, Linux, and O365, ensuring quick and effective issue resolution. Support collaboration tools (video conferencing, messaging) and manage related corporate wide online events. Build, maintain, and deploy end-user operating system images (Windows, MacOS, Linux). Create tools/scripts/automation across IT services and infrastructure driving operational efficiencies and improving reliability. Manage compute endpoint services (JAMF/Intune) and mobile device management (MDM/MAM). Create user documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, procedures, and knowledge bases. Provide architectural, engineering, and operational support for SaaS and enterprise IT systems. Build close partnerships with ABB IS and other E-mobility service providers. Own and execute IT projects with attention to detail and high-quality service delivery. Utilize metrics to review operational performance and efficiency. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT team members. Candidate Requirements 8-10+ years supporting enterprise IT environments, including end-user, VIP, and C-level support across Windows, MacOS, Linux, and VMware. Proficient in managing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud platforms, MDM/endpoint tools) and deploying applications across AWS, Azure, GCP. Skilled in automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and collaboration tools (MS Teams, Zoom). Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, customer-focused, team-oriented. Willing to travel (up to 25%) and participate in after-hours on-call rotations. BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
