Job Summary

The Site Security Manager will be responsible for ensuring the protection of the People, Assets, Information, and Reputation of the GKNA site. They will manage physical and Information Security, providing operational direction and support through a security risk management program to meet business priorities, contractual, and regulatory obligations, maintaining the 'License to Operate.'

Collaboration with the Central Security Team (CST), Defense Business Line Security Lead (BLSL), and other stakeholders will be essential for understanding risks and delivering solutions. The manager will serve as the point of contact for all security matters at the site, overseeing governance, compliance, physical and technical security improvements, incident reporting, investigations, and training programs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage daily operational security at the site.


2. Conduct regular Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessments to identify security risks and implement controls.


3. Develop and implement security plans, manuals, processes, and procedures.


4. Manage third-party security providers.


5. Review and improve security controls continuously.


6. Coordinate with leadership, security teams, and external agencies.


7. Ensure Personnel Security Clearances are met in collaboration with HR.


8. Manage information security in accordance with standards.


9. Deliver security training and awareness programs.


10. Advise international travelers on security risks.


11. Report security incidents and conduct investigations.


12. Own the site Incident Management Plan and processes.

Job Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience (9+ years).


• At least 5 years of experience in Security Management or related fields.


• Proven ability to manage security responsibilities.


• Knowledge of Threat & Risk Assessment methodologies.


• Understanding of physical, technical, and information security controls.


• Experience managing plans, processes, and third-party contractors.


• Experience with international travel security and emergency management.


• U.S. Person status per ITAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Security Risk Management within GKN Aerospace or similar.


• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.


• SIA/CPP or equivalent security qualification.


• Investigation experience.


• Knowledge of Data Protection practices.


• Budget management experience.

Compensation Data

Annual Salary: $121,006.00
