In this role, you will oversee the functions of Crisis Services, including ACI (MCRT) and 988 agency roles, Emergency Room Enhancement, Community Behavioral Health Liaison, Suicide Prevention Liaison, and Co-Responders. You will supervise clinical and support staff, providing individual, group, family, and practical counseling to meet client needs and treatment goals. Key Responsibilities include supervising the Crisis Services Supervisor and providing leadership to the team; assisting with crisis interventions at facilities as appropriate; overseeing the system’s Disaster Response Team; providing telephone and face-to-face crisis intervention and maintaining documentation of interventions; delivering Facility Based Involuntary Commitment Training per DMH to local psychiatric hospital staff; assisting community members in Probate Court Civil Involuntary Commitments; serving as a liaison between community agencies and the ACI/Crisis Assist Team, providing in-services as requested; providing crisis debriefing to communities that have experienced a traumatic event; ensuring Crisis Service programs meet licensure requirements/regulations; completing monthly dashboards for program evaluations and quarterly DMH required reports; and performing other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and standards. Education and experience requirements include a Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field, being at least 21 years of age, prior experience in crisis management and intervention preferred, prior supervisory experience preferred, at least one year of behavioral health experience, successful completion of CPR, First Aid, and CPI training, effective communication skills, compliance with Brightli, state, and federal compliance standards, and strong documentation skills. Physical requirements include sedentary work with occasional exertion up to 10 pounds and repetitive movements for typing and/or writing.
