The Behavioral & Social Sciences (BSS) Department in the College of Arts & Sciences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Prescott Campus invites applications for a full-time, Assistant/Associate Professor (Open Track) position in Psychology, beginning January 2026. We seek a dynamic and engaging educator with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and student mentorship. While the specific area of expertise is open, preference will be given to candidates with a background in clinical or forensic psychology. This position offers opportunities for promotion, aligned with performance and institutional guidelines.

The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSS) is home to three growing undergraduate psychology programs: Forensic Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and Human Factors Psychology. The department is committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where faculty work together as a team to ensure student success. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

• A Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent degree in Psychology (ABD candidates considered if the degree will be completed by January 2026); OR a master's degree with significant professional experience.


• Demonstrated ability or potential to teach undergraduate courses in psychology.


• Commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, mentoring, and student engagement.

Preferred Qualifications :

Practical experience in forensic or clinical settings (e.g., working with law enforcement, correctional facilities, or victim advocacy).
